Description

Whetstone Communications, in association with comms2point0, is delighted to bring your another free webinar to support your learning and development.

Our aim is to boost interest in using evidence and improve levels of data literacy among not-for-profit communicators.

For this session we're delighted to be welcoming Laurel Smithson, Communications Manager (Humanitarian and Strategic) and colleagues from Hertfordshire County Council.

Session Outline

As many organisations face ever-decreasing budgets, comms professionals are increasingly asked to do more with less, or even cut some activity.

Hertfordshire County Council last year found itself with just a small budget to do deliver its annual residents’ survey – a vital tool that underpins much of its work. It also ensures it remains accountable to our residents and informs work across the organisation.

It had to find a way to deliver it in-house, but delivering results that surpassed expectations.

This session aims to equip you and your colleagues with the skills and knowledge to produce your own in-house survey, including:

· The how and the what (what questions).

· Understanding weighting and benchmarking.

· How to publicise the survey to drive up responses.

· How to share the results of the survey.

Who should attend?

*People working in local government communications

* Anyone in the public or not for profit sector with responsibility for running or promoting stakeholder surveys.
